Class FAQ

  • Classes are 40 minutes and include a small snack at the end (ingredients list is available). 

  • Before and in-between each class our materials and instruments are cleaned with a non-toxic botanical solution.

  • If your child is sick and/or has a fever we kindly request that they stay home. It is our policy that they will not be permitted to join us that day as a courtesy to the others in the class.

  • In extreme weather situations classes might be cancelled. We generally follow the Philadelphia Public School System for cancellations. Updates will be posted on the front page of our website and/or feel free to call our office (267)930-7503 to hear a voicemail recording for information, or send us an email! Our website & voicemail messages will be updated to provide the most up-to-date info. If a class is cancelled we will try to add a class to the end of the session as a make-up class.

  • Make-ups: Everyone gets 2 make-ups to be used in the same session. You may attend any of the alternate classes as a make-up (before the session ends) by emailing us in advance to confirm there is room. Make-ups do not carry over to future sessions. 

  • If you have friends interested in trying a class please have them email to schedule a drop-in class, space permitting. Drop-in classes are $18 and we ask that they be scheduled in advance (at least 24 hours) and drop-ins are only available if there is room. 

  • To prevent overcrowding we kindly request that you limit the number of adults participating to 2 (per family). If an adult family member is visiting, they are more than welcome to attend as one of those adults! If you happen to have more than 2 adult family members that would like to accompany your child to a class, please email us beforehand to see if there is enough room to accommodate more than 2 adults.
